  1. Presentation and Possible Action on Board of Supervisors File No. 160748 – Planning Code - Amusement Arcades in South of Market and Eastern Neighborhoods Mixed Use Districts. Ordinance amending the Planning Code to allow amusement arcades in all South of Market and Eastern Neighborhoods Mixed Use Districts except for the Residential Enclave Districts; affirming the Planning Department’s determination under the California Environmental Quality Act; making findings of consistency with the General Plan, and the eight priority policies of Planning Code, Section 101.1; and adopting findings of public convenience, necessity, and welfare under Planning Code, Section 302. Procedural Note: Any person may request that the Commission separately consider particular applications from this list.  If the Commission receives such a request, it will treat each application within the request as a separate item, and for each application will allow separate public comment of up to two minutes per speaker. Otherwise, the procedure is as follows. Presentations from the Program Manager and Registry applicants will be heard in succession. After the last presentation concludes, public comment will be called. At this point, each speaker will have up to two minutes to provide comment on any of the applications under consideration during this meeting. Commission discussion and action, including consideration of a resolution to approve the application, will follow.
